Data processing

When you visit this website, we will collect the following information: the date and time you access a page on our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you visited before accessing it website, certain cookies (see points 2, 4 and 6) and the information that you provide yourself by filling out the contact form or registering on our website.

Social media plugins

Plugins from the following social networks are used on the platform:

Only if you give your consent to the processing of the data by the operator of the social network in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR will your data be transmitted to the respective operator of the social network when you click on the displayed icons. The network receives information about your visit to our platform via the plugin.

If you are logged in to one of the social networks mentioned when you visit the platform, your visit can be assigned to your social network account. Interactions with the plugin can be saved by the network operator.

Google Adwords

Our website uses “Google Adwords” cookies, a function of the web analysis service Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, in order to send you online advertising from the respective platforms for remarketing purposes at a later point in time within the Google advertising network. These are long-term cookies that can be stored for a maximum period of 6 months.

Please note that common internet browsers accept cookies in their default settings. This can be changed in the respective browser settings. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (according to Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation), which consists in achieving the purposes mentioned above under point 7.

Transfer of personal data

For the purposes mentioned above, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipients:

  • IT service providers we use

  • the companies mentioned in points 3 to 6 as described

 

Some of the recipients mentioned above may be located outside your country or may process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection. For this purpose, for example, we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC). These are available upon request at info@spitz-wachau.at.

Rights related to personal data

We will generally store your data for a period of three months. Longer storage only takes place if this is necessary to investigate identified attacks on our website. If you register on our website, we will store your data for as long as your account exists and then only for as long as legal obligations require.
